Eight newly installed parking kiosks will begin charging those who park on Dayton Street and Riverfront Plaza in downtown Hamilton, Ohio, just outside of Cincinnati, as soon as March, according to a Journal-News report. The kiosks were installed in response to businesses' concerns about the limited available parking as the amount of traffic has increased.
The city has not finalized the parking rates, and technicians still need to activate the software inside the kiosks. The kiosks will print a receipt that drivers need to put behind their windshields, stating the date and the expiration time.
