The Ohio Lottery Commission has begun relocating 179 lottery kiosks due to underperformance, according to a Cleveland.com report.
The kiosks sell tickets for Keno, Scratch Off, Explosion Show and other games.
The agency has around 8,170 self-serve kiosks and raises funds to support Ohio schools. Last year, it gave $1.4 billion in profits to its education fund.
Each of the kiosks being moved have $50 or less in daily sales or are at a business that has closed, well below the statewide average of $372.
Some kiosks have more than $2,200 in daily sales.
If a kiosk has been identified as a low seller after six months, the retailer is given an addition six months. Retailers receive a 5.5% commission.
