Richland County Ohio libraries offer free health information kiosks

The Richland County, Ohio public libraries are offering free health information on internet-connected iPad kiosks installed earlier this year with the support of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine, according to the Mansfield News Journal. The kiosks are located in Mansfield, Bellville, Butler, Crestview, Lexington, Lucas, Madison, Ontario and Plymouth.

Shannon Nelson, a clerical specialist for Richland Public Health, said the kiosks are getting a lot of use. The kiosks have 15 applications that allow users to do research.
