The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles has recently deployed nine kiosks as part of a pilot program that enables residents to renew their vehicle registration via kiosk, according to a report by WLWT.

Users can renew their registration simply by supplying their driver's license information and then paying with debit or credit card or check, according to the release. The BMV has processed almost 3,600 registrations since the initial deployment.

The kiosks are currently located in Cincinnati, Columbus and Cleveland in various supermarkets, including Meijer. The pilot program will continue until June 2016, and if it is successful, the BMV may expand the program to offer driving records, boat registration and fishing licenses.
