Ocean City to implement ParkMobile App, phase out kiosks

Ocean City, Maryland, will launch the ParkMobile app on April 1, 2025, to replace its traditional parking kiosk system, according to a WBOC report. The app will allow drivers to pay for parking via their smartphones, extend parking time remotely and receive real-time alerts. Parking kiosks will be removed throughout the town in 2025, with the exception of the Inlet Parking Lot, which will see kiosk removal in 2026.

Users can download the free ParkMobile app and register their vehicle and payment information. Payment options will include QR code scanning, text messaging and phone calls in addition to the app itself. Informational signage will be installed to assist users.
