ObjectSoft signs deal with computer maker

HACKENSACK, N.J. - ObjectSoft Corp. said it has signed a development contract with an undisclosed major computer manufacturer to develop a new kiosk that could be installed in locations nationwide.

A company press release did not name the computer manufacturer involved in the agreement, and an ObjectSoft executive would not disclose details of the contract.

The company announced Feb. 22 it had appealed to NASDAQ to delay the delisting of its stock, which fell in value from more than $8 in March 2000 to less than .25 cents in the last month. It will have a hearing on that issue March 29.

ObjectSoft is the manufacturer and distributor of FastTake kiosks, of which 255 units are currently installed. The kiosks allow users to purchase movie titles, sample movie trailers and purchase goods and services.
