According to Gadling.com, a New York City hotel is jumping on the iPad craze, using the devices as virtual concierge self-service kiosks.
The Royalton is launching a new iPad-based virtual concierge program in all guest rooms at the hotel. The iPads will provide destination information, access to custom, hotel-created playlists, the ability to browse and order room service and access to other mobile apps and services.
