North Dakota state officials have developed a plan to install 18 EV charging stations at 50-mile intervals on Interstate 94 and Interstate 29, with construction expected in 2024, according to an inforum.com report.
The stations will be located within a mile of an interstate exit.
Close to 400 electric vehicles are currently registered in the state, in addition to about 370 plug-in hybrid autos.
Once the plan is approved, officials will seek companies that can design, build, maintain and operate the stations.
