North Carolina motorists will be able to access vehicle license services at self serve kiosks at grocery stores and military bases this fall, according to a charlotte.axios.com report.

The DMV will initially install 20 kiosks in grocery stores and military bases, mainly in Mecklenburg and Wake counties and metro areas. The agency hopes to install more than 100 kiosks statewide within a year and a half following the initial rollout.

The agency has not yet determined the specific locations or the fee for using the kiosk.

The grocery store kiosks will be located near the grocery checkout areas.
