Noritsu to buy Lucidiom, its recent photo kiosk partner

Orange County (Calif.) Business Journal: Noritsu America Corp., a maker of photo software, scanners and printers, said it plans to buy Vienna, Va.-based Lucidiom Inc., a maker of self-service photo printing kiosks for stores. The companies recently paired to launch a photo kiosk/printer combination for retailers. The deal, for undisclosed terms, is expected to close in the current quarter. Noritsu said it plans to leave Lucidiom's East coast operations and management team intact. Lucidiom has roughly 50 workers in all.
