NEW DELHI, India - NIIT will install 200 Time Machine e-recruitment kiosks by Sept. 2003 to help employers in India's booming IT enabled services (ITES) industry select qualified employees.
The kiosks will test each candidate's written English skills, analyze his or her voice quality and evaluate his or her learning style, according to a company news release.
The Time Machines will be installed in NIIT Education Centers across India, by the company's ITES division, Planetworkz.
Suren Singh Rasaily, head of NIIT Planetworkz said that 1.1 million young Indians are needed to man the ITES industry by 2008.
NIIT pioneered IT training in India in 1981. It now offers a balance of IT solutions software and training.
