Nigeria's federal government has reactivated and upgraded its national ReportGov feedback system, deploying physical kiosks at major international airports to strengthen transparency, accountability and public service efficiency, according to a report on the country's ThisDayLive news site. The initiative was launched at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, with plans to expand to airports in Abuja, Port Harcourt, Enugu and Kano. The project is part of broader governance reforms aimed at improving citizen trust, enhancing service delivery and strengthening Nigeria's business environment.

The ReportGov kiosks allow travelers and citizens to submit real-time complaints, compliments and suggestions regarding government services. Operating 24 hours a day in high-traffic airport locations, the kiosks feed information directly into government monitoring systems that track issues from submission through resolution. Officials say the system will help reduce bureaucratic delays, improve coordination among government agencies, and measure public service performance based on actual user experiences.

Government leaders emphasized that airports serve as critical economic gateways where service quality influences international perceptions of Nigeria's investment climate, tourism appeal and overall competitiveness. By improving passenger experience and service accountability through kiosk-based feedback, authorities aim to address operational challenges such as processing delays, service gaps and infrastructure maintenance issues that affect travelers' first impressions of the country.

The expanded deployment of ReportGov kiosks also supports national anti-corruption and governance reform efforts by creating structured reporting channels that discourage unethical practices and promote institutional accountability.
