NHL fans using kiosks to vote for favorites

NEW YORK -- One company, 989 Sports, has found a unique use for broadband kiosks in Circuit City stores.

National Hockey League fans are using kiosks in more than 600 Circuit City stores across the nation to cast their votes for which NHL players will make the starting lineup for the Feb. 2 All-Star Game in Sunrise, Fla.

Fans also can cast their votes on the NHL Web site and by paper at all 30 NHL arenas.

The Circuit City/NHL All-Star Fan voting continues through Dec. 31.
