New Zealand airport to expand self-serve check-in kiosks

Queenstown Airport in Queenstown, New Zealand plans to install additional bag drop and kiosk technology to allow passengers to check in faster, according to a futuretravelexperience.com report.

The airport will install nine self-service kiosks and six bag-drop units by June in addition to 15 that were installed in 2019, along with management software.

The bag drop and kiosk technology will be provided by Elenium, an Australia-based provider of digital solutions.
