Visitors to Medina, New York, will be able to learn about village attractions and services at a newly installed outdoor kiosk that features eight panels and QR codes for additional information, according to an orleanshub.com report.

Takeform, a Medina design company, developed the panels that highlight local history, culinary attractions, services, parks, events and recreational opportunities.

Gasport Welding & Fabrication made the steel structure while the village department of public works poured the concrete base and bolted it down.

The kiosk replaces a wooden one that was more of a display board for notices.

The YMCA secured a $10,000 grant from the Ralph C. Wilson Foundation to cover the costs.
