New Rochelle, New York plans to replace its Wi-Fi kiosk network to make it more equitable to all residents and extend connectivity in the city's downtown, according to a lohud.com report
Two more kiosks will be added for a total of 12. The New Rochelle Train Station will have the first kiosk before the end of the year along Huguenot Street in front of the library green.
Intersection will replace the kiosks while Verizon will continue to provide Wi-Fi hotspots and Internet service.
The investment will be covered by advertising revenue at no cost for taxpayers
