New York town reaps rewards from parking kiosks

March 26, 2018

The city of Kingston, New York, has sold nearly 500 permits for parking kiosks that the mayor said will bring additional funds to the city, according to MidHudsonNews.com.

The permits allow people to park for a year for a low fee, said Mayor Steven Noble. He said the kiosks are being used for monthly, daily and hourly parking citywide.

The city bonded to pay for the kiosks, but it expects to repay that with the parking revenue.
