The city of Plattsburgh, New York met revenue goals after installing parking kiosks at its beach this past season.

Installing the four kiosks cost about $47,000, and the first season generated $76,806 in parking fee revenue, according to a Press-Republican report. This included 21 seasonal beach permits that generated $1,260.

The revenue came from visitors as city residents were provided free seasonal passes.

Mayor Chris Rosenquest said the sales met expectations.
