New provider oversees IT rollouts

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- ScanSource Inc., value-added distributor of specialty technology products, has enhanced its services offering with the addition of Rollouts Inc., a provider of on-site support and project management for company rollouts.

Rollouts handles all aspects of an end-user's installation, including scheduling, deployment, and management of field service technicians, according to a news release. In addition, the reseller pays a single per-site or per-device fee. This arrangement will allow resellers to complete installations more quickly, give them greater geographic reach, and help them manage peak demand on a variable cost basis.

Rollouts Inc., based in Chaska, Minn., provides onsite services and project management to corporations throughout the United States and Canada, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Services include installation of computers, networks, kiosks, point-of-sale equipment, ATMs and wireless "hot spots."

The company also provides onsite inventory and maintenance services. Rollouts has performed on-site services at over 100,000 locations. Rollouts' technical field force is drawn from its e-Technicians network of over 10,000 independent technicians throughout North America.
