New Plustek network scanner hits the market

Plustek's new A250 touch-screen scanner lets users scan files directly to a computer, drive, cloud, or mobile phone, using built-in Ethernet and WiFi connections.

The scanner processes with Microsoft SMB protocol, and allows each administrator to have pre-set jobs in place. Additionally it operates at 31 PPM/62 IPM scan speed, 50-page ADF capacity with 3,000 pages daily duty cycle, ultrasonic multi-feed detection, application connectors, and is open for API integration.

"The A250 is made exclusively for independent office technology dealers as a way to help them develop new lucrative opportunities and also to extend the conversation with their valued customers," stated Robert Fuchs, marketing manager, Plustek USA, in a release.
