NEW NETSHIFT VERSION 6.0 OFFERS INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH SOLUTIONS FOR PUBLIC ACCESS APPLICATIONS

Leading public access solutions provider NetShift has announced the latest releases of its Builder and Runtime software platforms that deliver truly robust and industrial strength products for both standalone and networked public access applications.

Version 6.0 incorporates significant new and enhanced features that will enable kiosk and public access network developers to deliver resilient systems capable of taking full advantage of NetShift's Enterprise remote management facilities.

Supporting the full range of industry-standard web plug-ins, NetShift Builder v6.0 benefits from close integration with standard browser technologies enabling future technology and operating system developments to be easily accommodated.

Features and benefits of Builder v6.0 include an integrated fully configurable custom keyboard designer that is capable of rapidly producing professional quality virtual keyboards for running in either NetShift or non-NetShift environments (eg industrial process control applications). In addition, Builder 6.0 enables creation of kiosk personalities that can be fully managed by NetShift Enterprise.

NetShift Runtime version 6.0 is now fully Enterprise enabled and licensed to interoperate in networks managed by NetShift Enterprise with the option to run as standalone applications remaining if required. Runtime v6.0 also incorporates support for several utility technologies that have proven popular with customers in the past. These include the NetShift e-mail client, video e-mail, e-mail objects and NetShift Viewer.

Runtime licences now also incorporate a right to use client licence for NetShift Payment-enabled applications.
