New Mexico county kiosk accepts deposits for prison inmate accounts

The Bernalillo County, New Mexico government has installed a kiosk that accepts deposits for Metropolitan Detention Center inmates' accounts, according to a press release.

The kiosk is on the first floor of Bernalillo County at Alvarado Square, 415 Silver Ave. SW, near the treasurer's office. The deposits can be made using cash, a debit card or credit card.

Inmates' family and friends can place funds on the MDC inmates accounts at no charge during office hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.to 5 p.m.
