Esprida Corporation and Careworks Inc. announced today they will partner to help health-care facilities increase operational efficiencies, according to a press release on businesswire.com.
Careworx MultiPoint kiosks, which uses Esprida remote-monitoring software, transform single-purpose, point-of-care devices into a simple-to-use, multi-application interface, said Steven Robertson, president of Careworx, a technology vendor and consulting firm.
"Until now, long-term care facilities have faced complexities in effectively managing their systems and deploying valuable cloud-based software to their front line staff," Robertson said. "By deploying the Esprida platform on the Careworx MultiPoint kiosk, our clients can more efficiently deliver patient care, manage and interface with multiple time- and money-saving software applications."
According to the release, the Esprida platform "creates a seamless technology framework allowing facility staff to manage and navigate between applications on the computer tablets, significantly reducing costs related to building and adapting existing software applications and improving workflow. Centralized management features allow facilities to easily deploy, monitor, manage and update the computer tablets remotely, reducing costs while increasing speed of configuration updates and regulatory compliance."
William Winkenwerder Jr., a strategic health-care consultant for Esprida, said the management features have the capacity to transform how long-term health-care facilities provide care to patients.
"Esprida is ensuring reliable up-time for systems like MultiPoint, which is the key to profitability and overall success," he said.
