With the Feb. 1 deadline for first-quarter 2026 property tax payments looming, officials in Lakewood Township, New Jersey, officials have placed a set of EUNA and CityBase payment kiosks located inside and outside the township's municipal building. Available around the clock, the kiosks accept cash, checks, and credit or debit cards, provide immediate printed receipts and integrate payments directly into the township's tax records system without fees for cash or check transactions.
According to a report in the publication Lakewood Alerts, the township also offers an Auto Pay and ACH bank draft program that allows residents to have quarterly tax payments automatically deducted from their bank accounts or make one-time electronic or card payments through the township's tax collector website.
For those who prefer face-to-face assistance, the tax collector's office remains open during regular business hours. Township leaders says the combination of traditional service and modern technology reflects Lakewood's commitment to making government services convenient, efficient, and accessible.
