New Jersey hospital installs voter registration kiosk

University Hospital in Newark, Jew Jersey, recently installed a voter registration kiosk in partnership with the VotER initiative, according to a Newark Patch report.

The kiosk is located in the emergency department waiting area. The hospital is the first in New Jersey to participate.

The kiosk allows patients and visitors to register to vote in New Jersey using an electronic portal that walks patients through the registration process and prints out their registration application.
