New controller offers USB interface for TFT LCDs

RONKONKOMA, N.Y. - The new ArtistaUSB controller available from Apollo Display Technologies makes it possible to control VGA and SVGA TFT displays via a USB interface - with no graphics card required. According to a news release, the controller plugs into any standard USB computer interface to display images on TFT LCDs, and also makes it more cost-effective to add primary or secondary TFT monitors to POS, POI, medical and measurement systems.
