NV Energy, a Nevada utility, has sought public feedback on a $100 million plan to expand access to EV charging stations and has posted an online survey for residents, according to a ktnv.com report.

The utility said it wants a plan to help drive economic recovery in the state by prioritizing placement in historically underserved communities, improve access to clean energy jobs and support EV driver tourism.

There are seven major components to the over plan:

  • Interstate corridor depots.
  • Urban charging depots.
  • Public agency charging.
  • Transit, school bus and transportation electrification.
  • Recreation and tourism.
  • Workforce development.
  • Outreach and education.
