Nevada to offer free legal assistance kiosks

Nevadans in need of legal advice will be able to access informational kiosks at 22 libraries across the state, according to a kolotv.com report.

The state government will provide kiosks to offer free information about civil legal issues, finding court information and forms, accessing legal aid providers and attending virtual court hearings.

The kiosks will provide curated information about housing, divorce, custody, health care, powers of attorney, protection orders, guardianship, debt collection, Social Security and veterans resources.

The kiosks will be accessible in English and Spanish and will be ADA-compliant.
