NetShift has officially opened a North American office with the assimilation of the Cybertotems ' North American team under the NetShift banner. With an experienced team of professionals already in place, NetShift has a ready-made beachhead for its push into the US markets. Due to a strategic realignment, Cybertotems has decided to withdraw from the US market, whereas NetShift, recipient of a recent multi-million dollar investment from Shell Internet Ventures, plans to expand aggressively into the North American market and has committed to hiring the entire Cybertotems team, led by Bob Gallner, previously VP of sales for Cybertotems. NetShift will continue expanding its North American customer base in keeping with the company 's policy of engaging customers more directly to ensure success of their public access technology deployments.
