April 9, 2002

NEWBURY, England -- Kiosk software developer NetShift Software Ltd. and British self-service machine manufacturer Cyberline have launched a partnership to provide public access solutions using Cyberline hardware and NetShift software solutions.

Cyberline launched its Automated Services Machines (ASM) line at the CeBIT technology conference and trade show in Hannover, Germany, March 13-20. The company is positioning its machines for use in the financial, government, and distribution sectors.

NetShift will provide the latest version of its management software platform, NetShift 5.5, to power Cyberline's machines.

"We are very excited at the prospect of working closely with Cyberline to develop and enhance the concept of ASM," said John Purcell, NetShift vice president of marketing, said in a news release. "We see it as an ideal platform for advanced financial, government, and leisure applications."

The Cyerbline partnership is one of several initiatives that NetShift is currently involved in. The software developer is also working with the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive to develop start-of-the-art trip planning terminals in Manchester, England, for the 2002 Commonwealth Games.

Visitors to Manchester for the Games, scheduled for July 25 through August 4, will be able to access detailed itineraries covering walking tours and public transportation.
