BERKSHIRE, United Kingdom -- Self-service tech specialist NetShift intends to boost front-desk service for large organizations with the introduction of new interactive touchscreen information terminals.
According to a company news release, the Reception Directory is a quick and convenient touchscreen kiosk product that staff and visitors can use to access contact information, floor plans, or to locate facilities.
Early arrivals or visitors awaiting attention can use the kiosk to access pre-selected Web sites for the latest internal or external news and information, according to the release. The system broadcasts advertising or corporate messages when it is not dealing with a live query.
Manufactured from 20mm shatter resistant Perspex, the directory boasts an ultra slim line unit with a large 17-inch touchscreen. The plug-and-go Reception Directory's price -- which wasn't released -- includes custom design, initial data load and onsite installation and training.
