BRANFORD, Conn. - Kiosk software developer Netkey Inc. can now flash the "Open" sign when it comes to compatibility between its kiosk authoring software suite and Microsoft Corp.'s operating systems.
Netkey announced on Dec. 17 that its Netkey Creator 5.5 kiosk application authoring software suite has been tested and certified to run on Microsoft's Windows XP operating system. Netkey Creator is now certified to work with all of Microsoft's systems.
"As a long-time Microsoft Certified Partner, Netkey has been at the forefront of designing powerful and feather-rich software solutions for self-service that are based on the Microsoft Windows platform," Alex Richardson, Netkey president, said in a news release.
Netkey Creator supports a wide array of graphic devices and peripherals, including printers, bar code scanners, and magnetic card stripe readers. The system also includes security functions, including Web access controls and keyboard lockdown features.
