BRANFORD, Conn. -- Applications and management software provider Netkey has named Theresa F. Yerkes president and chief operating officer for the Branford, Conn.-based company.
Yerkes joined Netkey in 2000 as executive vice president and chief financial officer, according to a company news release. In her new role, Yerkes will be responsible for all the organization's operations. Alex Richardson, Netkey's founder and chief executive officer, made the announcement.
Prior to joining Netkey, Yerkes was vice president and controller for The Stanley Works, a $3 billion manufacturer and distributor of consumer and industrial tools, doors and hardware. Prior to that she was a senior manager for Ernst & Young. She earned an MBA from the University of Connecticut and a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Maine.
