NetBooth, SportsDatabases partner to deploy sports information kiosks
LAS VEGAS - Carnegie Cooke and Co. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, NetBooth Corporation, has formed a strategic revenue alliance with SportsDatabases to deploy vending-type machines that print out sports gaming content of interest to sports bettors. According to a news release, the units, which will provide news and information via a touchscreen terminal, will be placed inside casinos, pubs, restaurants and areas of target population. Users insert their credit cards or cash and select an information sheet provided by the system.
Kiosks using the system charge users for printed sheets that provide them with the most up-to-the-minute sports information. The product launch is scheduled for early in the fourth quarter of 2004.
