July 9, 2021

Visitors are required to sanitize their hands, put on a medical grade mask and pass screening requirements before entering CHI Health hospitals in Nebraska and southwest Iowa, according to a report in The Grand Island Independent.

Touchscreen kiosks that screen visitors by asking questions related to COVID-19 exposure are positioned at hospital entrances.

Those who pass the requirements receive a sticker to wear.

Those who don't are instructed to leave the hospital.

Hospitals are required to follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, requiring visitors to wear masks regardless of vaccination status.
