Nebraska introduces child support payment kiosks

Nebraskans are now able to make child support payments at self-serve kiosks in seven counties using cash, check, money order, credit card or debit card, according to a knopnews2.com report.

The NE Rapid Pay kiosks are available at offices in Kearney, Grand Island, Lincoln, Omaha, Papillion, Norfolk and Gering counties.

The seven kiosks have processed more than 1,400 transactions since June 1, totaling more than $571,000.

An eighth kiosk on test at Nanonation, which provided the hardware and installation for the state's kiosks, will deploy in six to nine months.
