NCR to resell BroadVision's business portal apps

February 11, 2003

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- NCR Corporation has entered into an agreement with BroadVision, Inc. (Nasdaq:BVSN), a provider of enterprise business portal applications, to integrate the BroadVision One-To-One Portal and BroadVision One-To-One Commerce applications into its e-commerce service offer.

Under the terms of the agreement, NCR's e-commerce services team will resell and implement BroadVision solutions and provide both on-site implementation and hosted access of BroadVision applications.

According to a news release, NCR will also offer customers value-added services including integration of their Web channels with e-mail, call centers, PDA, ATM and kiosk channels.

NCR's decision to utilize the BroadVision enterprise business portal solutions extends the partnership between the two companies. In October 2002, BroadVision became a reseller of NCR's Teradata E-Business Analytics Solution Portfolio in conjunction with its suite of enterprise business portal applications.

"BroadVision products are a great fit for NCR's overall e-commerce strategy," said Sanjay Gupta, BroadVision's senior vice president of marketing and alliances. "By integrating our out-of-the-box portal-based commerce solution with NCR infrastructure, companies can achieve fast time-to-market and a rapid return on their investment."
