NCR opens Peachtree City facility

December 1, 2009

The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports that NCR Corp. officially opened its global service and parts headquarters in Peachtree City, Ga. The new facility also has a customer care center and training center.
"The opening of our Peachtree City facility is a major milestone for NCR, specifically for the NCR Services organization," said John Bruno, executive vice president of NCR. "By co-locating strategic elements of our Global Services Parts headquarters, Americas Customer Care Center and NCR University, the center will enable NCR to deliver superior service to our customers, supporting about 20,000 service requests in the Americas region every day."
The new $15-million services center is expected to employ more than 900 people. The company's manufacturing plant officially opened in October in Duluth, Ga. NCR says it plans to complete its headquarters relocation by the end of next year, when it plans to employ more than 3,000 people in Georgia.
