Duluth, Ga. based self-service manufacturerNCRhas entered into a partnership with InMotion Entertainment and MOD Systems to deploy digital-download kiosks later this year in Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. According to reports byThe Hollywood ReporterandTG Daily, the kiosks will allow customers to download a range of media, from movies and TV shows to music.
"The kiosks will bring easy, affordable access to a wide choice of digital movies, television programs and music tracks for the first time to airport travelers," said NCR in a press release.
According to reports, the kiosks will allow customers to buy the content outright or pay a reduced fee for limited-time access. The content can download to SD cards, Memory Sticks or USB devices. The service will not be co-branded or connected to NCR's Blockbuster Express DVD-rental kiosks.
The kiosks will roll out in Hartsfield-Jackson International in June, with 35 other airports in line for future deployment.
