NCR donates kiosks to Atlanta museum

ATLANTA -- NCR Corp. (NYSE:NCR) recently showed up at the one-year birthday party for the Fernbank Museum of Natural History's Giants of the Mesozoic exhibition with a present: a pair of touchscreen kiosks for the Atlanta museum's exhibit.

The NCR EasyPoint kiosks offer access to portions of the museum's Web site, including sections on dinosaurs exhibited at the museum, the museum's history, and show times at Fernbank's IMAX Theater. NCR did not put a value on the donation.

"These kiosks are a welcome and much-appreciated addition to the Giants of the Mesozoic exhibit," Fernbank president and chief executive officer Susan Neugent said in a news release.

Giants of the Mesozoic opened at the museum on Aug. 25, 2001. The exhibit showcases fossils from the Mesozoic Era and offers a look at life in Patagonia during that time.
