NBG finds niche with government kiosk project

April 21, 2002

PORTLAND, Ore. - Working under contract with the U.S. General Services Administration, NBG Solutions Inc., is bringing free government services to the public via Internet kiosks.

Installed in high-traffic locations - including federal buildings, malls, department/discount stores, public libraries and grocery stores - the kiosks provide a wide range of federal, state, county, and municipal government services. Forms for various services, including passport applications, copies of birth/death certificates, driver's licenses and income tax filing are available, as well as information on Medicare and Social Security statements. The information is available in various languages and can be printed with a built-in duplex laser printer.

The original contract, signed in April 2000, called for a minimum of 25 custom kiosks to be deployed nationwide. To date, 53 kiosks have been purchased and 38 installed in California, Washington, Texas, Florida and Maine.

Based on its technical success and accelerated level of public usage, the project is expected to experience continued growth. In the last four months, the kiosks have logged more than 330,000 Web page hits.

NBG is providing and developing custom software solutions, all equipment and hardware and the kiosk enclosure. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of NBG Radio Network Inc. (OTCBB:NSBD.
