NBG extends government kiosk contract

February 25, 2002

TUALATIN, Ore. - Kiosk development and consulting company NBG Solutions Inc. is finding that keeping the government happy is good business. The company has extended a contract with the U.S. General Services Administration to maintain a line of more than 50 public access kiosks through the end of the year.

The kiosks, which are available at federal buildings, public libraries, and retail locations, offer access to federal and local government services through the Internet. The services can be access in a variety of languages and a built-in laser printer can print out information for kiosk users.

The maintenance agreement covers on-site repair and preventive maintenance. The GSA and NBG began working together in April 2000, when NBG agreed to develop custom software solutions and kiosk enclosures for the project.
