Narcan machines get high usage in Illinois county

Narcan vending machines in Winnebago County, Illinois are credited with dispensing more than 650 kits of the opioid fighting medication since October, according to a wifr.com report.

The machines that dispense free Narcan are located in the county courthouse and the county justice center.

County officials hope the medication will help reduce overdose deaths by 30%.
