ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- The 2002 NACS Show will feature the maximum when it comes to exhibitors. This year's show is a sell-out, officials at the National Association of Convenience Stores announced on July 22, with 1,275 companies signed up to showcase their products at the three-day show, which runs Oct. 6-8 in Orlando, Fla.
Companies with interests in the kiosk industry signed up for the show include FREEosk Inc., NCR Corp. (NYSE:NCR), and Radiant Systems (NASDAQ:RADS).
Exhibit space for this year's show at the Orange County Convention Center has been broken down into six categories: technology, facility development and operations, food equipment and food-service programs, petroleum equipment and services, candy and snacks, and general merchandise. The candy and snack section is expected to feature the most product launches at this year's show.
Lounge areas have also been set in each of the six sections for companies to meet and discuss show-floor strategies.
