Missouri's Greene County Circuit Clerk's Office announced the deployment of a bill-payment kiosk to give expanded access to citizens needing to settle debts to the court. The kiosk is accessible seven days a week at a local Price Cutter grocery store and accepts cash, credit and debit card payments.
"It may surprise some, but even today, many people still prefer to use cash," said Greene County Circuit Clerk Steve Helms, in a news release. "This is a way that we can expand our service hours to them. Our goal is to help make government more accessible and responsive to all."
