Moveable kiosks expected among Dayton airport's self-service upgrades
March 10, 2009
Dayton B2B: Dayton International Airport expects to receive about $13 million in economic-stimulus money, and the air hub plans to spend some of that funding on upgrading and expanding its self-service offerings. Among the planned additions: Self-service kiosks that can be moved from one location to another throughout the airport. The kiosks will be used to print boarding passes, and since they are moveable, they can be placed away from the typical check-in line for the counter, eliminating confusion and keeping lines for self-service and the counter separate.
