Moscow airport kiosks take off

September 8, 2002

MOSCOW -- Passengers at Moscow's Domodedovo International Airport have recently been introduced to a new information delivery service -- a network of interactive kiosks that provide airport information.

The kiosks, designed and deployed by Russian kiosk provider Quarta Touch Systems for airport operator EAST LINE Group, provide real-time arrival and departure information, information on luggage and customs requirements, and a map highlighting the airport's shops and restaurants.

Seven kiosks are located in the airport terminal, with an eighth unit deployed at Paveletskaya Station, a primary rail hub to the airport.
