Morocco to deploy national border control system

The General Directorate for National Security of Kingdom of Morocco is partnering with Veridos to deploy border control solutions.

The General Directorate for National Security of Kingdom of Morocco is partnering with Veridos to deploy border control solutions. These solutions include Automated Border Control eGates and passport readers, according to the press release.

Veridos will build this border control solution from its verification platform VeriGO, which allows DGSN to integrate its current databases and systems into the new platform. The company will provide a variety of solutions for the country including:

• VISOTEX Expert passport readers and VISOCORE Inspect to allow officials to verify documents;
• Biometric data capture;
• Automated Border Control gates to boost efficiency and maintain security; and
• Mobile border control kits to allow officials to verify travelers' data on-the-go.
