More restaurants using IP networks for kiosks

ePaynews: Franchised and licensed restaurants in the United States are using IP-based broadband networks to interconnect card-processing services with kiosks and other restaurant systems. Credit and gift card processing time can be reduced from 30 seconds to about five seconds, and restaurant operators do not have to worry about obtaining a dial-up link to a card processor or the sharing POS data across the enterprise.
