More Hawaii motorists use DMV kiosks during COVID-19

Motorists in Oahu, Hawaii are using vehicle registration kiosks more in response to the coronavirus pandemic, according to a khon.com report. The kiosks, which are available at supermarkets, allow drivers to renew and print vehicle registrations.

The kiosks were used nearly four times as much in 2020 than 2019, partly due to the limited appointments available at city offices.

Drivers can also renew vehicle registrations online or by mail.
